Keith and I never cease to be amused by what comes out of Addison's mouth. Each day she comes up with something new. Here are a few of our latest favorites...
1. Addison was getting ready to go potty and I went to lift up the seat. She quickly moved my hand from the lid and exclaimed "Mommy, you don't touch that, it's very dirty!" Now if she would just apply that knowledge to public restrooms we'd be good!!
2. When waking up from her nap, she very sweetly told me that "heros help people, mommy". Not sure what made her think that but it was precious.
3. We drove past a church the other night and Addison stated that, that was where Baby Jesus lived in a manger. Then she proceeded to explain that his mommy, Mary, wore something on her head to keep her "warm and snuggie" and that it was called a cape.
4. Addison saw a white-haired man (very obviously a man) walk by a couple nights ago and she shouted "it's my grandma!" She proceeded to keep repeating it very loudly!! Not sure who should be more offended the man or my poor Grandma!
5. After hearing that her Uncle Andrew was Mommy's little brother, she laughed and said "he's not little, he's way up high like the clouds!"
6. Lately, Addison has informed us that Keith's hair looks like Donald Duck's, Mommy has clown hair and Uncle Andrew looks lion. Not sure if these were meant as compliments or not...
Addison brings such joy and laughter into our home!!
